If you have a copy of DREDGE in your digital library, then paying a visit to the usual digital stores will see you sorted with The Pale Reach. For us Xbox players, it’s the Xbox Store which offers up such an adventure. You should expect to find this on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC too.

And if you don’t have a copy of DREDGE? Well, you are missing out on something extremely special. We urge you to give our review of DREDGE on Xbox a read, if only to find out why we gave it a 4.5/5 in review. Let our concluding line tempt you in even more…

We want to play a double-bill of DREDGE and Moonglow Bay. Because while Moonglow Bay is the positive, life-affirming and wistful side of fishing, DREDGE is the opposite. It is monstrously gorgeous, hideously compelling, and has our fingernails down to bloody ends. We’re going to need to update that best fishing games list.

DREDGE’s second paid expansion, ‘The Iron Rig’, is set to arrive in early-2024.

DREDGE The Pale Reach Description

The Pale Reach is the first official expansion for DREDGE – a cosmic horror fishing adventure with a sinister undercurrent. In The Pale Reach, you’ll navigate the treacherous ice fields to discover a mystery frozen under the ice. Retrace the steps of the last crew that came before you and unearth a story of bitter betrayal. Find some familiar faces and develop new equipment to navigate the area and profit from its inhabitants.
