Turbo Golf Racing gets 2 new DLC packs

It was about 18 months back that Turbo Golf Racing launched onto Xbox, making the most of the Game Preview process as it arrived. In that time, it’s changed up a fair old bit, adding in new features and content drops. It’s with that in which we take to the fairways of Turbo Golf Racing once more, as two new DLC packs land in the hole.

Are the two latest downloadable content packs for Turbo Golf Racing going to switch things up massively? Nah, nope. But they will bring a bit of enjoyment to your life as they mix up ball and vehicle types to cater for some niche audiences.

In place and available to add to Turbo Golf Racing right now are both the Furry Friends Kit and the Buffet Ball Selection.

Some furry new friends

We’ll take a look at the Turbo Golf Racing Furry Friends Kit first. Priced at £4.99, with a little discount if you are a Game Pass subscriber, this is one that will appeal to the pet lovers out there.

It adds in a number of new cosmetics for Turbo Golf Racing, including additional vehicle body types, balls, wheels and more. All – as you would expect to hear – have a furry theme.

  • Pupps (Legendary Body)
  • Goldie (Legendary Ball)
  • Knots (Legendary Spoiler)
  • Pelt (Legendary Finish)
  • Guzzle (Epic Shield)
  • Treats (Epic Wheels)
  • Paws (Epic Decal)
  • Kibble (Epic Boost)

You can grab the Turbo Golf Racing: Furry Friends Kit from the Xbox Store

A beast of a buffet

Additionally is the launch of the Turbo Golf Racing: Buffet Ball Selection. This one is a little cheaper, running a £2.99 price tag at the Xbox Store. But that doesn’t mean it is any less exciting, delivering some seven new Legendary, Epic and Rare Ball types to the game.

  • Pepperoni (Legendary Ball)
  • Patty (Legendary Ball)
  • Sashimi (Legendary Ball)
  • Floss (Epic Ball)
  • Doughnut (Epic Ball)
  • Scoop (Rare Ball)
  • Marinara (Rare Ball)

Once purchased, you’ll find all of the following in your Turbo Golf Racing garage.

It goes without saying that you will need a copy of Turbo Golf Racing in your library in order to make the most of the new Furry Friends or Buffet Ball packs. That base game is still in Game Preview, as Secret mode and Hugecalf Studios continue honing things, readying the game for full release.

We’re big fans of what Turbo Golf Racing can offer. The base game is on Game Pass (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC) so you really should have no excuse to not play.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
