The Invasion continues with a new Alien Hominid

It’s been some twenty years since The Behemoth released the iconic Alien Hominid to the world. A cartoony run and gunner, it’s safe to say it was done rather well. In fact, it’s a game that we absolutely loved way back when. Here’s hoping the launch of Alien Hominid Invasion and Alien Hominid HD on Xbox, PC and Switch goes equally well.

Alien Hominid is back!

Available right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC is Alien Hominid Invasion. There’s also a revamped Alien Hominid HD game in place too.

We’ll start with the latest game and Alien Hominid Invasion sees friends and enemies reappear as you once again attempt to invade Earth. Playing as a little alien guy, it’ll be up to you and your mates to head onwards, taking down anything and everything that may get in your way.

Alien Hominid Invasion will give you the tools for the job too. Weapons, mutations and the finest acrobatic skills will all be yours to utilise. As will the chance to level up like never before.

Features

We’ve high hopes for Alien Hominid Invasion and will be sure to deliver our review thoughts very soon. Until that time you’ll find the key features tempting you in…

  • Couch or online co-op: get a group of (up to) four players together for the most chaotic invasion possible!
  • Master alien movement: learn how to flip, dive, dig, fly, toss your enemies, and more to gain an edge over enemy agents.
  • Level up and mutate your alien: utilize mechanics like head chomping, super speed, healing, and flight!
  • Determine your own gameplay path: choose which area to invade next in a non-linear level experience.
  • Invade randomly-assembled neighborhoods: take down the enemy in areas built from hundreds of hand-drawn city blocks!
  • Customize your alien: choose your hominid’s head, boosts, and pigment to your liking.
  • Play across skill gaps: each player chooses their own difficulty by choosing Friendly, Normal, or INSANE!

Alien Hominid Invasion is on the Xbox Store. You’ll find it priced at ÂŁ14.99 as an individual download. It’s also in the Alien Hominid: The Extra Terrestrial Bundle for ÂŁ20.99. This adds in Alien Hominid HD too.

If you fancy it, you can grab that HD drop of the original Alien Hominid as well. It comes in at £9.99 and will deliver the award-winning side-scroller, just upgraded, enhanced and in HD form.

Let us know how your invasion goes with the Alien Hominid squad.
