For the last few weeks, many Xbox One Preview members will have been able to get involved in the New Xbox One Experience, ditching the old way of life and instead being given the chance to check out the future of Xbox One. Well good news, the New Experience has now been given a full release date…bet you can’t wait!
Coming on November 12th 2015, the NXOE will bring about a complete redesign of the Xbox One UI as we currently know it. Whilst the basics are still pretty much the same, the jigging around of features, ensuring that those which we need most of all at on hand, will see the NXOE hit all consoles.
The fastest, most social experience yet will include; faster performance, improved game experience, vertical scrolling allows faster access to activities and content and an expanded social content and engagement. You’ll also be able to get hold of your notifications, messages and friends without ever having to pause or leave your game, stay connected to the latest and greatest via the Game Hubs and get fully socialised with the new Community feature.
The Store has also been revamped with new categories and optimisation, whilst a revamped OneGuide becomes your single destination for TV, movies, and video apps if that’s your kind of thing!
Finally, Backwards Compatibility will hit home in a big way, with the chance to play a huge number of Xbox 360 games directly on your Xbox One. It should launch with 100 titles included but more will be added in future months.
