the pedestrian xbox

There are many who complain that the gaming industry is stale; that the same old games are being pumped out at a rate of knots. But then up pop games like The Pedestrian on Xbox and Game Pass, immediately closing down the conversation.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and for free via Xbox Game Pass should you subscribe, is The Pedestrian.

A delightful little puzzle platformer from the Skookum Arts team, The Pedestrian will have you attempting to navigate your way through a world that is full of puzzles and tests. Nothing new there you may think, but this one drops you into a dynamic world, 3D in style, before ushering you forth to test the mind.

It has you moving your little pedestrian character across all manner of signs and ideas, jumping, climbing and transporting yourself through the weirdness at hand. At the heart of it, it’s the reconnection of sign posts and public information opportunities with which The Pedestrian works, but delve deeper and you’ll discover a world that is totally alive.

We’ve not seen a puzzle platformer like The Pedestrian for a while, especially not one that totally lifts our interest levels from the moment the trailer starts. But that’s exactly what has happened this time around, with intrigue and interest in what Skookum Arts have created.

The fact that it’s on Xbox Game Pass means that there’s really no reason to not give it a go, and should you somehow not be a subscriber, a fairly easy-to-handle £16.74 price tag is all that is attached. Just make your way to the Xbox Store.

We’ll be running a review of The Pedestrian on Xbox as soon as we can. Keep an eye out for it as we let you know whether the interconnecting parts fit neatly.
