TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 15 – How important is the writing in modern day gaming?

-

Latest Reviews

TheXboxHub’s podcast team are back for yet another edition of the, now weekly, TheXboxHub Official Podcast. Episode 15 sees regulars Gareth and James joined by Richard this time for a discussion about the importance of the writing in games these days, as well as the recent delay to Dying Light 2.

Amongst the games we’ve been playing this week are Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, DOOM, Lake Ridden and Lumini, with all four coming highly recommended. In terms of news, there are new Xbox Game Pass titles on the horizon and there’s excitement over Ninja Theory’s latest reveal. Then we go deep into how the writing is so important in games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Yakuza.

Episode 15 also features talk about some rather interesting TV shows that are worth taking note of, including Sky Atlantic’s The Outsider and Netflix’s You.

As always, full show notes are available over at www.thexboxhub.com/podcast

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
