A love letter to fast-paced arcade shooters, if you’re up for a fight and ready for some intensity, XDefiant should well be able to provide it, especially as it lands on Xbox, PlayStation and PC as a free-to-play offering.
Available to download for free right now from the likes of the Xbox Store (other digital storefronts should be able to sort you out too) is XDefiant. It’s the much anticipated shooter from Ubisoft that should well cater for genre veterans, newcomers or those who like to take their gaming to all-new levels.
Get shooting with XDefiant’s cross-play
Cross-play support is in house from the get-go as Ubisoft bring communities together, across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. This is however a current-gen only title so don’t expect to be found playing on Xbox One.
Various factions await your joining in XDefiant, as you take to a variety of different maps, play through numerous modes and create a whole ton of mayhem. With about as much weaponry as you could ever wish for and the promise of further content drops as every new season lands, this 6-player teamwork-focused live game should well ignite the passion in anyone looking for a new shooter.
Consider that Ubisoft have had a few great months in The Crew Motorfest, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and more, and there’s a chance the run could well continue with this one.
