We’ve had an utter slew of Five Nights at Freddy’s games arrive on Xbox over the last six months or so, going from zero to total nightmare with the release of four base games plus a physical Core Collection. Now though it’s time to really go deep with the nightmares that Freddy’s brings, with the Ultimate Custom Night.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Ultimate Custom Night takes what was great about Five Nights at Freddy’s 1, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 and Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 to deliver the ultimate Five Nights mashup with no less than 50 characters and custom difficulties in place from the get-go.

Priced at £6.69, Ultimate Custom Night sees you trapped, all alone in an office, as you are left to fend off a host of killer animatronics. Standard FNaF stuff really, but where this differs is that you get the opportunity to pick your killers, from a range of 50 characters who have appeared in any of the previous seven Five Nights at Freddy’s titles. You can throw in pretty much who you want, when you want in Ultimate Custom Night, and then by amending the difficulty options too, will find a different game playing out each time you mosey on in.

With your office space comprising two side doors, a couple of vents and air hoses, plus a number of other tools which you’ll have to become one with in order to bat back the animatronics that are found coming your way, the test in Ultimate Custom Night looks to be, well, the ultimate one. The inclusion of no less than 16 themed challenges should well be able to build on that too.

Prove your worth in the den of Freddy’s though and you’ll find rewards in the form of Faz-Coins which will in turn let you pick some goodies from the prize counter. It’s just the journey to these Coins promises to be a tough one.

Should you be on board with what Five Nights at Freddy’s has managed to wheel out so far, are looking for another scare or two, or are just dropping in to the nightmares that it promises for the very first time, the Ultimate Custom Night can be picked up this very second from the Xbox Store. Close the curtains, switch off the lights and grab a control, this is going to be one hell of a ride.

Game Description:

Welcome to the ultimate FNAF mashup, where you will once again be trapped alone in an office fending off killer animatronics! Featuring 50 selectable animatronic characters spanning seven Five Nights at Freddy’s games, the options for customization are nearly endless. Mix and match any assortment of characters that you like, set their difficulty from 0-20, then jump right into the action! From your office desk, you will need to manage two side doors, two vents, as well as two air hoses, all of which lead directly into your office. This time you will have to master other tools as well if you want to complete the ultimate challenges, tools such as the heater, A/C, a global music box, a power generator, and more. As if all of that weren’t enough, you’ll also need to set up laser traps in the vents, collect Faz-Coins, purchase items from the prize counter, and as always, keep a close eye on not one, but two, Pirate Cove curtains!
