The Prince of Persia searches for The Lost Crown

With Ubisoft on a bit of a roll and fans clamouring for a new entry in the much loved Prince of Persia franchise, it feels just about perfect timing for the unleashing of an inner warrior. Are you ready to head out with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?

Available today on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is the latest in the long running, hugely loved series. The game is also on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC, through Amazon Luna and Ubisoft+ if you would prefer too.

Launching today as part of the Deluxe Edition, giving some three days early access over the standard street release, there is much hype for what Ubisoft can deliver with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. And frankly, after providing such high quality experiences over recent months via the likes of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, The Crew Motorfest and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, there’s good reason for that hype.

The Prince returns

A return of an old fan favourite franchise, in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown you’ll find yourself thrown into an adventure like no other.

Taking placing in Mount Qaf, it’ll be up to you to jump headlong into a quest which revolves around saving the Prince and restoring world balance. A task already sounding pretty tough, once you start to weave in time powers, super abilities and more, it should all become hugely appealing.

It has you playing as Sargon; a young, rather gifted, Persian warrior who finds themselves slap bang in the middle of Persia. From there, much awaits – diverse biomes, challenging fights, plenty of exploration and the utilisation of memory shards.

Frankly, if you’ve been holding out for a new Prince of Persia experience, perhaps still looking fondly on the likes of what went before it – we’re still massive fans of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within – then you should be jumping in to The Lost Crown immediately.

Key features

Promising to be an extraordinary adventure, in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown the following key features will come to the fore.

  • UNLEASH YOUR INNER WARRIOR – Use your Time Powers, combat, and platforming skills to perform deadly combos and defeat time-corrupted enemies and mythological creatures.
  • LOSE YOURSELF IN THE PRODIGIOUS MOUNT QAF – Discover a cursed Persian-inspired world filled with larger-than-life landmarks and explore a variety of highly detailed biomes, each with their own identity, wonder, and danger.
  • LIVE AN EPIC ADVENTURE – Immerse yourself in a Persian mythological fantasy through an intriguing and original story as you use your wits to solve puzzles, find hidden treasures, and complete quests to learn more about this corrupted place.

Play now ahead of the official release

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You’ll need to stump up for the slightly more expensive edition in the form of the Deluxe Edition, but that ensures you get three days early access over that of the Standard Edition. It also chucks in some additional extras too – an Immortal Outfit, Prosperity Bird Outfit and more.

You’ll find Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown priced at £49.99. The Standard Edition is £44.99, whilst you’ll also find it on Ubisoft+ if you are subscribed.
