Another week has passed, which means that a brand new Deals with Gold sale is in place to offer Xbox gamers discounted prices for a whole host of games, with potential bargains to be had for DLC too. Sometimes it’s tricky to decipher the good deals from those not worth splashing the cash on, so we’ll try and make that a little easier for you. So, let’s take a look at highlights, and lowlights, from the Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale for 26th June – 2nd July 2018.

Grab – Human: Fall Flat – 50% off – £6.00

Human: Fall Flat follows a builder named Bob – no, not that one – and sees you take control of his every limb as you attempt to awkwardly guide him through a multitude of everyday tasks that he’s dreaming of accomplishing. Mastering the movement isn’t easy, but it’s hilarious to see Bob’s limbs flying about whilst you’re doing the simplest of actions. There are hours of puzzling fun to be had on your own, or in co-op with a friend locally for some really crazy moments, and the physics mechanics are spot on.

At half the usual price, now’s the ideal time to get involved in the physics based puzzler of Human: Fall Flat.

Grab – Masters of Anima – 50% off – £8.00

We’d be more than willing to pay full price for the action-packed strategic title Masters of Anima, so with a healthy discount, it’s a no brainer to venture into the magical world of Spark.

The premise sees you play the role of Otto – a mere apprentice shaper who can summon an army to fight on his behalf when needed – as he attempts to piece his broken fiancée Ana back together, whilst taking on the recently awoken golems at the same time. Not only does it have a good story to tell, but the writing is rather charming. In terms of gameplay, it’s exciting to summon different types of helpers to aid in battle, with gladiatorial characters, archers, protectors, and more, ready to unleash hell on the enemies standing in your way.

There’s certainly somewhat of a Spark about Masters of Anima, and for under a tenner, you can’t say no… can you?

Leave – Professional Farmer 2017 – 50% off – £16.00

There’s a chance that you’ve already spotted Professional Farmer 2017 in this week’s sale and steered clear of it, but just to reiterate to those that are unaware… keep the cash in your pocket.

Having had the displeasure of spending time with Professional Farmer 2017 when it released two years ago, take our word that it’s a mess of a game. Glitches and bugs are rife throughout the experience, with tractors getting stuck in awkward places and animals mysteriously dying, which can lead to frustration and the decimation of your farming business. That’s not the worst part though really; because without the problems, it’s just a horrendously boring game that does nothing to add excitement to the world of cultivation.

We played it, so you don’t have to!

So, that’s it for another week and we hope that helps you figure out which are the real bargains to be found in the Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale for 26th June – 2nd July 2018. Don’t forget, if you wish to save a bit more money in the process, then make sure you head to CDKeys and grab some of their cheap Xbox Live Credit.
