This weeks Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale has been filled with numerous discounts for Xbox Live Gold members. With a number of Capcom and Star Wars titles taking a leading role, which of the huge list should you be picking up?
Recent weeks have seen us struggle to recommend any really decent deals but this week there are a number that shouldn’t be missed…all for varying reasons!
Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 1 – £2.40/$2.99 (50% off) Xbox One and Xbox 360.
It may seem strange for us to point you towards the first episode of a series, bearing in mind that once you’ve got involved, you’ll probably be coerced to purchase the remainder. But Resident Evil Revelations 2 is that damn good, it would be a shame for anyone to miss out on it. For the first episode to be discounted, we’d urge you to buy it now and if you can’t afford to grab the remaining episodes, then hold off for a further sale on those. We’re sure one will be along sooner rather than later.
Prepare to get much too involved in the stories of Claire Redfield, Moira and Barry Burton and the latest freaky little girl to star in a videogame, Natalia.
Remember Me – £3.99/$7.99(80% off) – Xbox 360
I remember the first time I set eyes on Remember Me. Passing me by until the game was firmly in my hands it didn’t really know what to expect. I was however pretty much blown away.
The story is compelling and you consistently want to be told more throughout the 10 or so hours you’ll get to spend with Nilin, the former elite memory hunter who has the ability to break into people’s minds.
£3.99 should be more than cheap enough for any Xbox 360 gamer to jump in on and I’ll be more than happy if the day ever comes when Remember Me appears on Xbox One in a remastered role.
Buy it, right now.
Lost Planet 2 – £2.99/$3.99 (80% off) – Xbox 360
We always like to pick a real cheap deal to include in our Deals With Gold opinion and occasionally we struggle to find that. For £2.99 however, Lost Planet 2 should be snapped up.
It may be a little slow to take off, but LP2 storms through with a fairly solid campaign that works well as both a solo experience and one that should be taken in with others. You’ll find a great deal of satisfaction and some superb boss fights along the way as well.
A real underrated title that is currently at a stupidly low price.
