The Xbox world holds its breath each and every week for an Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale that will be filled with a ton of great bargains and discounts on all manner of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games. The sale for the 8th-14th Dec 2015 is now in place – which are the best and worst of the deals on offer?
Well, we’re struggling a little to find anything more than half decent and it may just be best to save your cash for another day. If you have to spend something though, the following may be of interest.
Grab – Peggle – 50% off – Xbox 360
We love Peggle and 50% off means it is now in the kind of price range which needs no thinking about.
With the content pack also discounted, now is as good a time as any to experience PopCaps peg smashing masterpiece. Whether you’re after something that will keep you going for many an hour, or just need a quick ten minute time waster, in our eyes, there is nothing better than sitting down, controller in hand and listening in on the delightful sounds that Peggle brings.
Don’t delay – grab it today!
Grab – Zuma – 50% off – Xbox 360
Zuma was one of the very first games we ever played on Xbox 360. Pretty much ten years old, it may look completely dated, but the engaging gameplay and ‘just one more go’ attitude that it brings means that the 50% discount shouldn’t be overlooked.
It may be pretty cheap already but for the next week, if you need something to keep you busy, then you can’t go wrong with a bit of puzzling Zuma action. Unless of course you’re after a first person shooter…
Leave – Battlefield Bundle – 50% off – £25.00 – Xbox One
Right, anyone crazy enough to pay £25.00 for two games? How about when you can buy EA Access, bringing you both of the included games plus a ton extra, for an entire year, for a fiver less?
No, we didn’t think so and that makes the Battlefield Bundle quite possibly the worst deal we have seen this year. If I’m honest though, I could have included any one of the Battlefield sale items from this week!
Bringing Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline together in one package is most definitely a good thing, but when you can spend £20 on a year long EA Access sub, getting access to both those games, loads more AND a discount on all future EA purchases and DLC, then it makes absolutely no sense.
Unless it’s £2. But it’s not – it’s more than 12 times that!
So, a bit of a rubbish week…perhaps the Xbox Countdown to Xmas/New Year sale will be considerably better?
As always, you can find the full Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale details for 8th-14th Dec 2015 right here. We advise you to pick up some cheap Xbox Live credit first.
Hopefully this is the calm before the (Christmas) storm…
