Yep, Mostyn House awaits in Withering Rooms – a new 2.5D horror RPG from the Moonless Formless and Perp Games teams. It opens its doors today on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. 

A new horror!

Available today, in Withering Rooms you get to take on the role of Nightingale, as you take on a journey into the unknown. Inspired by a variety of roguelikes, Soulslikes and survival horrors from years gone by, you’ll need to try and help young Nightingale escape the mad house. 

As you may expect to hear, that ain’t gonna be easy. See, Mostyn House is a maze of worlds, tombs, caves, churches and more. Let’s just say you’re going to need to utilise the wide range of weapons, tools, spells and more that are on offer. Why? Well, when you’re being chased by invisible ghosts, devious witches and guys with axes in their hands, you’re going to need all the help you can get.

Welcome to Mostyn House, a once beautiful Victorian mansion that now rearranges itself each night and is filled with overgrown undead, invisible ghosts, devious witches, and axe wielding madmen.

Take on the role of young Nightingale in this challenging 2.5D RPG that draws inspiration from roguelikes, Soulslikes and classic survival horror games.

Explore an expansive procedurally generated map that includes all of Mostyn House and the hedge mazes, tombs, caves, churches, and ruins that lie beyond its gates. Create your own perfect build by finding or crafting a wide variety of weapons, tools, spells, outfits, and magical artifacts. Encounter a cast of strange friends, merchants, and liars each with their own agenda.
