xbox games with gold feb 2022

As if by magic, January has gone and February 2022 is on the horizon. And you know what that means? New free games coming our way via the monthly Xbox Games With Gold scheme. If you’re in the market for some new games to play, but don’t want to pay for them, you’re very much sorted with the February 2022 offerings.

We’ve said for a while that Games With Gold is now seen as very much a second-rate offering when you put it up against the power of Game Pass. And that continues to ring true throughout February 2022. See, whilst recent Game Pass additions have come in the form of Rainbow Six Extraction, Windjammers 2 and even the weird and wonderful Pupperazzi, Games With Gold has been left to pick up the scraps. Those scraps ain’t bad though…

As long as you have a valid Xbox Live Gold membership in hand, you’ll be able to download all of those games above, for free, during the dates stated. Those games will then be used to keep forevermore too – ensuring that they are a brilliant addition to your digital games library, especially if you’re looking to play something on a rainy day.

We can’t even pretend that the four on offer come close to those in the Game Pass scheme – although Never Yield is certainly well worth your time – but for free there should really be no messing around. Get those games downloaded as soon as you can.

You’ll find the first two Games With Gold titles for February 2022 – Broken Sword 5 and Hydrophobia – being taken down to zero cost levels very soon. We’ll then remind you when the middle of the month arrives, giving opportunity to take home Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield and Band of Bugs for no cost too.

Of course, with these new games on the horizon it does mean that January’s Games With Gold titles will soon be expiring. If you haven’t yet download those, get to it asap.

Let us know in the comments what you think of the latest set of Xbox Games With Gold titles for February 2022. Are they games you’ll be playing?
