Xbox Games With Gold for May 2022 lets you become a pinball wizard for free

There may be a lack of proper triple-A titles releasing over the next few months, but that doesn’t mean you’ll have the chance to put down your Xbox controller. Nope, and thanks to the Xbox Games With Gold scheme for May 2022, the chance to continue gaming with four free new games is certainly high. Those games are pretty damn tasty too – especially as you don’t need to pay for them and they give you the chance to become a pinball wizard for free.

Being stripped of their price tags during the month of May 2022, available to ‘purchase’ and download free of charge to all those with an Xbox Live Gold membership will, once again, be four Xbox games – two older 360 titles and couple of more up-to-date, modern games.

Should you have that valid Gold subscription to hand, expect to be able to find access to the following…

• Yoku’s Island Express – 1st-31st May 2022
• The Inner World: The Last Monk – 16th May – 15th June 2022
• Hydro Thunder Hurricane – 1st-15th May 2022
• Viva Pinata Party Animals – 16th-31st May 2022

Downloading these titles for free will mean they are yours to keep going forward, playable at a time that suits you. Personally, we’d be all over the brilliant Yoku’s Island Express as soon as possible, but we’ll also be downloading the frantic fun of Viva Pinata Party Animals to our library; readying it for a bit of a rainy day.

You’ll find that Yoku’s Island Express and Hydro Thunder Hurricane will be free to download from today whilst the other two for the month – The Inner World and Viva Pinata Party Animals – will drop down to a zero price come the middle of May. We’ll be sure to remind you when that day comes.

The new Games With Gold titles for May will however mean that those games that were delivered for free through April, will soon be going back up in price. If you haven’t yet nabbed Another Sight or MX vs ATV Alive then time is fast running out. Thankfully the rather brilliant Hue will still be free for another couple of weeks. You may as well download it for free now if you haven’t though.
