A co-op first-person shooter that has you as the last line of defence, fighting back an invading army threatening the city of Tertium. It’s you, some buddies, and your guns. No reinforcements, no help.
Releasing today on Xbox Series X|S and Game Pass to join those on PC, Darktide seeks to build upon the visceral combat laid down in Warhammer: Vermintide 2, and decks out your super-soldier with even more huge weapons of mass destruction. The core loop of Darktide is to deck out your character, selecting your class initially, and embarking on missions to dystopian factories and other dilapidated areas, disposing of waves of enemies in order to unlock further upgrades for your character.
In response to the various foes attempting to control the hive city of Tertium, prior to each mission it is paramount to pick the right loadout, abilities and tactics to suit your opposition. Whether it is going hell for leather with a chainsaw and a thirst for blood, or sitting back with ranged combat, you can be sure that the fighting will be bloody, gorey, and loud – just how we like it!
