If you remember the cartoonish, slow-motion shooting style of the original BLEED, which released on Xbox One last year, then you can expect BLEED 2 to blow a similar tune with its art style, love of bosses and pink-haired heroin, Wyrn.

Wryn has found herself in a time when she is the only remaining hero to ward off all the villains in the world, but luckily she is an expert in bullet reflecting, dodging and slow-mo shooting – all things that you will find yourself doing as you shoot your way through seven levels with more than 25 unique boss fights.

By progressing through the game you can find yourself unlocking new weapons and abilities for Wryn to utilise, and new characters to use, giving the girl a well-needed rest. With the addition of two-player local co-op and the option to fight three whole bosses at one time, an Arcade Mode to top the leaderboards with and an Endless Mode bringing randomly-generated levels, not to mention the 4 difficulty levels changing up enemy positions, you can be sure the development team hasn’t skimped on content for BLEED 2.

All this for £11.99 sounds pretty good, but if you are quick making your way to the Microsoft Store you may be able to pick up a neat launch discount too. Those on PS4 would have been given access to the game just a few short days ago.

It’s time for Wryn to deserve the title of Greatest Hero of All Time!
