3 more cabinets fill out the Arcade Paradise

Arcade Paradise was already one of our most favourite games of 2022. Today though it gets better as 3 more cabinets fill out the game roster – all as a limited edition Double Vinyl LP releases.

If you’ve not yet played Arcade Paradise then you’re missing out on something special. A game which tasks you with running a laundromat, the simulation aspect of the game fast gives way to the brilliant ‘mini’ games which are found within.

It’s with these where the real joy of Arcade Paradise takes hold, and, as our full review of Arcade Paradise on Xbox discusses, is capable of delivering not a single bad game to the masses. It’s helped by an overarching story too, plus a ton of depths to everything that goes on.

That depth goes deeper today as three new cabinets arrive in Arcade Paradise. Available as the first step on the promised roadmap, Coin-Op Pack #1 includes Empathy, Smoke ’em and CyberDance Euromix. The bundle itself will set you back $3.99 / €3.99 / £3.49, but each game is also available individually for $1.99 / €1.99 / £1.79.

But what do they bring? Well…

  • Empathy – Time to grasp the handles and ascend the mountain whilst avoiding being hit by rocks from unbelievers. The longer you survive the more points you score. Forsake loneliness. Feel togetherness. Ascend. How high can you go?
  • Smoke ‘em – Aim. Fire. Reload. It’s time to test your sharpshooting skills against the clock in this supremely fun high scoring 2 player shooting range.
  • Cyberdance EuroMix – If your name’s not down, you’re not coming in. Luckily for you, it is Cyberdance EuroMix is the rave focused follow up to Arcade Paradise’s smash hit dancing sensation, Cyber Dance – with updated graphics and next generation widescreen technology. Pick your tune, then coordinate your movements in time with the beat. The closer to matching the beat you tap, the more you’ll score! Prepare to dance your socks off. For one or two players.

It’s your call as to whether you go deep with the full bundle (you should), or decide which of the three to pick and choose as the wallet allows. Just be aware you’ll need a copy of the base game in order to enjoy the new cabinets. You’ll find that available from the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Arcade Paradise is also on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.

But there’s more and Arcade Paradise fans will surely be interested in the chance to snap up a limited edition Double Vinyl LP.

The Arcade Paradise Double Vinyl Soundtrack features electrifying music by writer and producer Kieron Pepper (ex-Prodigy live drummer, 1997-2007) and is mastered by Bob Macc / Subvert, produced by Video Games Music Label, Black Razor Records. Featuring original 8-bit illustrated album artwork by David Sossella, the Double Vinyl is housed in a gatefold sleeve.

Avid listeners will be transported to the early ’90s in which the game is set, a true love letter to the skaters, ravers, and sticky arcade carpets of a time where arcades ruled the world. This vinyl has been meticulously crafted with collectors in mind, and the premium Double Vinyl is limited to 1000 eye-catching blue and pink vinyl pressings and includes a full digital download with bonus tracks too.

Up for it? The Arcade Paradise Double Vinyl soundtrack is available to purchase now from the Wired Productions store for £35.00.

Let us know if any of the 3 new cabinets or the soundtrack will be added to your shopping list. The comments are below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
