Development team The Bearded Ladies – the team behind the excellent Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden – and 505 Games have today released Miasma Chronicles, a tactical adventure title set in the heart of post-apocalyptic American wastelands.
Available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, Miasma Chronicles sees you jump into the shoes of Elvis, who was abandoned by his mother as a child, and raised by his robotic ‘brother’ Diggs, within the small mining community of Sedentary. Elvis finds himself embroiled within a conspiracy regarding the mysterious and deadly Miasma, that had torn apart America prior to the events of the game. It turns out that Elvis can himself wield the Miasma, through being gifted a magical glove.
Whether it is within Sedentary, or beyond its walls and out further into the desolated wilderness, Elvis will encounter a number of characters, both friend and foe, in order to find answers to just what the hell is going on. In a gameplay sense, Miasma Chronicles is a rich tactical adventure, blending real-time exploration with strategic turn-based combat, enriched by multiple RPG elements that will see you unlocking and upgrading abilities.
