New GDC trailer unveiled for Aven Colony

-

Team17 are making the most of GDC, delivering new info and trailers on a daily basis. Right now, they’ve dropped further info about the awesome looking Aven Colony, whilst releasing a new gameplay trailer too.

Independent developer Mothership Entertainment and Team17 have today released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the utterly beautiful and hugely engrossing sci-fi city-building and management sim, Aven Colony. With events of Aven Colony set on Aven Prime, an alien world full of deserts, tundras and wetlands, many light years from Earth, it’ll be up to you to build, customise and maintain your settlement, all whilst managing resources and encountering an array of alien life forms. You’ll also need to look after your citizens, all while dealing with the challenges of life in an entirely new solar system.

If that in itself sounds good, also revealed today is Aven Colony’s Expedition System which allows you, in your capacity as a colony Governor of Aven Prime, to send out expedition vessels to explore the often hostile surface of mankind’s new home. These vessels will be used to rescue lost explorers, repair crashed vessels, confront splinter groups and rebels, destroy deadly creep spore and plague spore nests, explore ruins, recover artifacts, and fight robot guardians left behind by mysterious ancient civilization that once inhabited Aven Prime.

Aven Colony is due for launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC at some point in Q2 of 2017 and we’ll be sure to keep you fully up-to-date with everything it, and Team17, bring.
