Halo: The Master Chief Collection is heading to Xbox One and brings with it a bumper crop of Halo goodies.
Whilst Halo 5: Guardians may still be some way off, Xbox One owners will get to experience all the best Halo games directly on the next generation.
The Master Chief Collection will contain all of the following, all on one disc and all accessible from a central hub:
- Halo Combat Evolved
- Halo 2
- Halo 3
- Halo 4
There will also be numerous bonuses, enhancements and extras with each title taking full advantage of the Xbox One’s power with higher fidelity, better shadowing, reflection and lighting effects, all with the option to play the old classic game or the new remastered ones.
All the multiplayer options from the four games will be available, along with any previously released download only maps, and with EVERYTHING open from the start you can jump in to any single player mission on any skill level or battle your friends online on any map right from the very start.
And alongside all of that, The Master Chief Collection also features the debut of Halo: Nightfall, an all-new digital series executive produced by legendary director Ridley Scott. While details on the project are top secret, it will tell the origin story of an all new character that is pivotal to Halo 5: Guardians….of which a beta will also be available to all those with the Master Chief Collection.
The Halo Master Chief Collection is the ultimate offering for any long term Halo fans or for those new Xbox gamers looking to check out the game that kicked it all off! Get set for November 11th.
