We’re getting closer to release date and today Codemasters have released more details and a trailer with regards to the Tuners found in game.

Tuner events will see a number of dedicated, single purpose tuned vehicles hit the track with flair, style and most importantly of all….drift skills! It’s not always about being the quickest round the tarmac when you’re competing in Tuner events but more about how you get there.

With both contemporary and classic cars including the likes of the Mitsubishi Lance Evo X, the Honda S2000 or the Dodge Charger R/T, tuner events will take in some of the best routes found at Yas Marina, Hockenheim, Brands Hatch and more.

If the tuners aren’t for you, then check out the details we’ve previously dropped in regards to the Open Wheel Racing, Touring Cars or Endurance races in preparation for Grid: Autosport hitting Xbox 360 June 24th/27th.

The video below shows off some game footage of the Tuner discipline and features some of the drivers from the Lassa Tyres Drift Team.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
