A cheap mess – Ultra Foodmess Deluxe is on Xbox

We’re not really sure why Ultra Foodmess Deluxe has popped up on the Xbox Store today. Aside from a change of publisher, this seems to be extremely similar to the non-deluxe version from previous. Whatever, if you fancy getting messy, Ultra Foodmess Deluxe on Xbox might just be for you. Even more so when you consider the price asked. 

Available right this second on the Xbox Store is Ultra Foodmess Deluxe. This is a food-filled creation of the Painful Smile team, now pushed out to the willing world by those at Silesia Games. It’s super cheap to purchase too, running a mere £3.29; £2.63 if you jump in at launch. 

A cheap party mess

Whatever you pay, this is one of the cheapest games available on the Xbox Store. And if you’re looking for a local multiplayer food-based party experience to take in with your mates, it’s one of the options to consider. Granted, those options are the biggest, and we’re not sure Ultra Foodmess Deluxe is going to compete with Overcooked! or Cake Bash, but it’s nice to have the decision. 

Ultra Foodmess Deluxe will see you dropped into an arena with mates or AI. From there, it’s a battle to the death as you explode, shoot, push, destroy and more, taking down the most loving of friendships and relationships as you go. 

Playing as a 2-4 player local multiplayer affair (filled with AI if you need), Ultra Foodmess Deluxe promises an 11 event game mode list. There’s also a ton of foodie characters, unlockables and one of the easiest to pick-up-and-play experiences currently on Xbox.
