The Black Friday sales have dominated the week of Xbox but there have been a ton of other stories hiding away under the surface, just begging to get noticed. Let us round up the best of the Xbox One and Xbox 360 news, reviews, opinions and videos that dropped between the 22nd-28th November 2015.

Five free Xbox Games With Gold titles for December revealed

December is always quite exciting but this December promises to be even better. All Xbox Live Gold members will have access to no less than five free games; three for Xbox 360 and two for Xbox One. Of course, thanks to Backwards Compatibility, that means Xbox One owners will in fact be able to grab and play all five games on their console.

They are all pretty decent titles in their own right too.

Fallout 4 Review

Fallout 4 is quite possibly the largest game ever released. With a reported 400 hours of gameplay in place, Xbox One owners may not need to buy another game this year…or indeed next!

But have Bethesda delivered something that is worthy of the Fallout name, or will it only really appeal to the most hardened of fans, those who are still battling away with Fallout 3 and the like! Well, even though it’s in dire need of a visual makeover, the latest title certainly delivers on all fronts.

Our review should be your next port of call though.

Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition Review

Occasionally something appears that confuses us. In the case of Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition we’re not quite sure whether the latest title to drop onto the Xbox One Games Store is a game…or just a piece of art.

The most simplistic of games, Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition sees you take in a story like no other. You ‘control’, if you can call it that, Kelly, a student on her way home when she takes a phone call from her family. Listening in to the story, taking in everything that the developers [bracket]games want us to know is then the only thing at the forefront of your mind. Gaming skills go out of the window, instead replaced by the need to listen, concentrate and enjoy!

If you’re intrigued, then our review will set you straight. For the cheap price, you’re not going to be breaking the bank.

PDP Afterglow AG 9 Wireless Headset for Xbox One Review

We are big fans of PDP and their Afterglow stuff is a delight to use. So when we got the chance to check out the Afterglow AG 9 wireless headset for Xbox One, it was something we couldn’t turn down.

After running with a pair of Afterglow Kargas for the last year or so, the fully wireless AG 9 is most definitely a step in the right direction. Sound is clear and the exclusion of any wires means that we have absolutely no issues in keeping our headset away from the kids or the dog!

Our full review will cover everything you need to know.

If you’ve got a bit of cash to spare and fancy splashing out on a premium Xbox One headset, then you should most definitely be putting the Astro A40 TR headset and Mixamp Pro for Xbox One on your list.

The redesigned headset from Astro is one of the latest to hit the market and with a Mixamp included in the box, should be good enough to ensure that each and every one of your gaming sessions is hit by the highest possible audio quality.

Whilst we’ll have a full review for you real soon, our unboxing video showcases exactly what comes in the glorious box. It’s full of goodies!

That’s it for this week – anything we missed? Let us know in the comments below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
