As a Russian superstar and former Arsenal FC player, Andrey Arshavin has a special place in the hearts of many football fans around the world that have followed him since those breakout performances in the European Championships for Russia in 2008. Memories of his Man of the Match display, and more, for Arsenal during a four-year spell in England’s top league – in which time he joined the brief list of players to have scored four goals in a single game – certainly helped confirm his legendary status as a player.
The Russian market continues to be of significance for KONAMI’s eFootball PES series, especially with the exclusive addition of the fully licensed Russian Premier Liga last year, which will remain in place for eFootball PES 2020. Arshavin himself will feature in multiple upcoming marketing activities with both KONAMI and the Russian Premier Liga that fans worldwide can look forward to checking out.
eFootball PES 2020 itself is aiming to usher in a new decade of industry-leading football simulation, with a bold promise to revolutionise eFootball and introduce the sport to a global audience. The game is going to feature a brand-new mode, Matchday, which will allow players to pick a side and come together for weekly events in order to compete in the biggest matches in football and help secure victory for your team. Don’t forget, eFootball PES 2020 will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from 10th September, 2019, with both standard and Legend editions to purchase.
