It’s been three years since 505 Games and KUNOS Simulazioni dropped players onto the grid of Assetto Corsa Competizione. In that time it’s been enhanced in a variety of ways. Today though it’s all about a new car, a new update and the chance for console players to get involved in the 2023 GT World Challenge.
Update 1.9 is front and centre of Assetto Corsa Competizione as it introduces the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo. A 2023 enhanced version of the standard car, if you’re serious about your racing, or are a McLaren fan, you’ll want this in your garage.

Further to that, Update 1.9 pushes out countless other improvements, new liveries straight from the 2023 season and another update to the Mercedes AMG GT34 EVO.
Oh, and you should also expect amendments to the physics system found in game, as Assetto Corsa Competizione looks to be the most realistic racing simulator available.
Assetto Corsa Competizione 2023 GT World Challenge DLC arrives
There’s more though. Alongside the new car and update comes the 2023 GT World Challenge DLC on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. This will set you back something in the region of £10.99, but adds in three cars in return. Those cars are rather awesome too – the Ferrari 296, the Porsche 911 GT3 R and the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO.
There’s a new track included in the DLC too – the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain.
