Off the back of BioShock Infinite celebrating its fifth anniversary and Third Editions completing their second successful Kickstarter, we can now take a look at another of their offerings, this one focusing on the BioShock trilogy.
Another day and another ‘remaster’. This time it is Devil May Cry. Again. And again the Devil May Cry HD Collection is one fans are already familiar with, having released on the 360 back in 2012. Existing fans of the series will have likely picked this up before so it is with disappointment that this new release offers nothing new for existing fans... except some great gameplay.
BioShock Infinite celebrates its fifth birthday on the 26th March 2018, so we are looking back at one of the finest examples of story-telling in gaming. Regardless of whether or not you understood the ending first time around – I know I didn’t - it stands up as an excellent game. I’ve been really looking forward to this one.
Nine Parchments is the latest game from Finnish studio Frozenbyte, and having been first released on Steam and Nintendo Switch at the back end of last year, now finds its way onto the Xbox One.
Surviving Mars describes itself as a “hardcore survival city-builder, where players will be tasked with creating a liveable colony in the harsh, hostile environs of Mars”. The hardcore nature though comes about because it doesn’t offer any guidance until a mistake has been made, instead relying on you to actually figure out what is required yourself. Omitting information seems a cheap way to increase difficulty.
Lost will forever hold a place in TV history. Regarded as one of the greatest shows of all-time, it boasted the most expensive pilot episode ever and had a main cast of 14 characters, which was unheard of at the time it first aired back in 2004 – and a year later on British shores.

Naturally then, there were to be other forms of media for fans to engross themselves further in the mythology, and in 2008, at the height of the TV show's popularity, Lost: Via Domus was released on Xbox 360 on the 28th February in Europe.
It was when I was hunting a Great Jagras for a second time in Monster Hunter World that something just clicked. Despite it being an action-RPG that isn’t afraid to make things a bit trickier than other games out there, Monster Hunter World is an incredibly calming and satisfying game, and will easily be up there as one of the best games of 2018.
