Delve into a world of secrets and lightbeams as Archaica: The Path of Light becomes the latest puzzle game to arrive on the Xbox Store for Xbox One.
Using a variety of mirrors and other objects, players must manipulate beams of light around the map, illuminating crystals and other triggers to open the lightwell. Whilst all this is going on, there is an ancient and mysterious civilisation to uncover and learn all about.
Sounds simple? Archiaca is a deceptively tricky little puzzle game, despite the gentle aesthetics. Thankfully it comes with a hint system that will highlight where you need to place objects, but not necessarily which object to place there. Even with the hints in place, expect to give your brain a good workout.
As well as the mirrors to deflect light there are numerous other tools at your disposal including dividers that split the light in two different directions, teleporters to beam light off elsewhere and a converter to help change the colour of the lightbeams. But it is also worth checking every corner of the maps because there are secrets hidden almost everywhere waiting to be discovered.
