Broken Sword 5 - the Serpent's Curse - George and Nico

Revolution Software have today announced that an enhanced version of Broken Sword 5 – The Serpent’s Curse will release worldwide for Xbox One and PS4 this summer.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Revolution will be bringing George and Nico’s latest adventure to the new gen with a digital version and on physical format which includes the game’s introduction as a graphic novel.

“We are delighted to bring Broken Sword 5 to PS4 and Xbox One – with enhancements over the other versions including additional animation and audio, a character gallery section and many console-specific enhancements. The Broken Sword games have a proud history on previous PlayStation and Xbox consoles. There is such a loyal following for the Broken Sword games, as demonstrated by the 15,000 fans who backed the original Kickstarter campaign – it’s fantastic to now be able to bring the game to all those console owners who have requested that we write the game for their favourite platform” said Charles Cecil, Founder & CEO of Revolution Software.

Prepare to immerse yourself in the rich storyline and experience some of the very best in adventure gaming with unique puzzles and plenty of detective work. Playing as intrepid American George Stobbart and sassy French journalist Nico Collard, players will find themselves on the trail of a stolen painting – and a murderous conspiracy.

We’ll be sure to let you know once a full release date emerges.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
