It’s been more than six years since the Bloons were last seen rocking on Xbox. But today it’s all about building up those Monkey Towers once again in Bloons TD 6 on Xbox.Â
Bloons TD 6 on Xbox comes via the team at Ninja Kiwi. As the name suggests, we’re now on the sixth iteration of this tower defense series, in which players are left to pop the invading armies of Bloon however they see fit.
As a franchise, this one has gone brilliantly. Millions will have played Bloons TD over the years, but many more will be coming in to Bloons TD 6 fresh as a daisy. No matter which camp you fall in, Bloons TD 6 will be sure to deliver a host of content.
Standard Bloons TD gameplay exists here, as you are left to work your tower defense skills like never before. But this time around we get extras. There’s four player online cooperative play for one, whilst couch co-op exists too. Boss events ramp the difficulty whilst a whole series of different maps will keep you going back over and over.
Neatly, you’ll have the tools for the job. Bloons TD 6 comes with no less than 22 of the most powerful Monkey Towers, each with their own upgrades and unique abilities. Paragons are in house too, as are an absolute ton of Heroes.
It’s probably the Monkey Knowledge we are most excited by though.
