Single screen puzzle platformers are nothing new. But we’re not sure many of them have tasked us with playing as a weird little oblong. Especially one who finds nothing but joy in the completion of puzzling challenges. We still think we can help Lily in Puzzle World though.
The latest from Eastasiasoft
Available right now as the latest from the prolific Eastasiasoft team is Lily in Puzzle World. Created by Derik D.F, this is yet another one of those super simple puzzle platformers that fast ramp up in difficulty. Expect it to be found pushing your gaming skills to the utter limit.
At least that’s what we are expecting from Lily in Puzzle World. If we’re honest, the trailer seems to show this as a rather joyful little affair, one that could possibly be completed in an evening or two. We’ll let you know how it goes in review, obviously.
If you do decide to splash out the mere £4.19 asking price, you should be prepared for a lovely little childlike world. Rather unique in terms of visuals, it has you playing as Lily. Lily is an oblong who hops, skips and jumps her way around a variety of stages. But little Lily has a trick up her sleeve too – when she comes across a point in which she cannot pass, she can switch shape, squashing down into a little ball. You’ll probably need to use that skill a number of times if you’re looking to complete the fifty levels on offer.
With an end-of-stage door signalling completion, all of the following key features will be front and centre in Lily in Puzzle World.
- Glide left or right and hop across 50 unique puzzle stages!
- Change shape to fit through tight spaces and reach switches.
- Avoid perilous traps, from spikes to arrows and more!
- Respawn and retry stages as many times as it takes.
- Collect bonus coins placed in tricky spots in each level!
If you fancy tackling this fun world and think you have what it takes to power Lily through her Puzzle World, then grab a download of the game right now. It’s on the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s optimised for latter consoles too.
You’ll also find Lily in Puzzle World on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.
