PC players have had the chance to test themselves in the Amazon for a few years already, with the hyper-realistic Green Hell having first launched on Steam back in 2018. Now though it’s time for Xbox and PlayStation players to take a trip of a lifetime as Green Hell unveils its hidden secrets on console.
Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One (playable on Xbox Series X|S), and PS4, Green Hell arrives on console with all the content available in that PC version, including the much-adored cooperative mode.Â
Priced at £20.99, Green Hell comes from the Creepy Jar team as they allow console players the opportunity to head to the uncharted regions of the Amazon, challenging them to survive in the harsh environment, and against all manner of danger.
A full Story Mode is present in Green Hell and this will see players coming to the aid of a remote Amazonian tribe, as they get to work through a variety of elements; resource management, base building, crafting, hunting and the need to contain your sanity. There is also the inclusion of a cooperative mode in which up to 4-players can tackle the rainforest together, ditching the Story if they so wish and preferring to utilise the power of an Endless Mode.
