Leave a trail of ice behind you in IceLine on Xbox

A simple top-down puzzler, IceLine will give you the opportunity to cast some icy magic. And prove yourself as the champion Ice Magician as you go. But do you have the skills to reach that level of spellcasting?

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC is IceLine. It’s priced at £4.19 from the Xbox Store, with an initial launch discount dropping that down to £3.35.

Small sums – great magic

That £4.19 asking price may feel low. But from the press info we’ve been given, it seems like IceLine is rich in content. It tasks you with working your way through a series of top-down puzzles, taking control of the Ice Magician as you go.

Movement sees an ice trail build, and in IceLine, it’s that which is key. See, you’ll get to use that trail of cold destruction to take down any enemies, or to blast your way through obstacles that would otherwise be limiting your path.

With crystals to collect, many of which will amend the colour of your IceLine and the promise of magic and skills from the next level, traversing the IceLine lands should be a good one.

It comes from the Desert Water Games and Hyperbeam Games teams. And so, if you’re after a quick diversion from the norm, prove yourself as an Ice Magician. Grab a copy of IceLine now. It’s available from the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

There’s a secondary page up too – with a PC download sitting behind that one.

Let us know if you decide to give it a go.

Game Description

IceLine is a top-down puzzle game about Ice Magician, who collects magic crystals and takes his skills to the next level.

This is a puzzle game with unique mechanics in which the player character leaves an ice trail behind him and thus changes the playing field for himself! Defeat enemies with ice trail, use it to boost yourself trough obstacles and change your ice element to collect different crystals.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
