Celebrate Canada Day with the Rocksmith Tegan and Sara Song Pack

It’s been more than 150 years since Canada was formed, and come the 1st July 2019, we’ll be seeing the nation celebrating 152 years since foundation. What better way to acknowledge the anniversary than by dropping some of the country’s favourite indie artists into Rocksmith with the Tegan and Sara Song Pack.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC, the Rocksmith Tegan and Sara Song Pack contains three tunes from the Calgarian identical twins that will be right up the street of many an indie rock fan.

Delivered at a price point of just £6.39, included in the duo’s Rocksmith Song Pack are…

  • Walking with a Ghost
  • Call It Off
  • The Con

A fan of what Tegan and Sara have delivered across the 8 albums they’ve recorded and wish to get involved in this celebration of Canada Day? You’ll want to mosey on over to the Xbox Store if you’re learning the way of the guitar on Xbox One or Xbox 360, or will need to take a trip to the PlayStation Store to sort out your PS3 and PS4 needs. Whilst the full song pack is most obviously a tempting proposition, should you be stretched for cash, or just want to focus your guitar skills on one of the tunes, then each are also available for £2.39 a piece.

Should you wish to know more about Rocksmith, either in the 2014 Edition or across the Remastered variety, then our full review of the game on Xbox One will certainly provide the goods. The Rocksmith gods have always promised that this is the fastest way to learn guitar, and we tend to agree with that statement.

As always, if this latest DLC for Rocksmith doesn’t appeal to you, make sure you hit up all the previous bands, genres, mix-tapes and tunes that have arrived in the weeks, months and years gone by. Let us know what you grab by posting in that comments section below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
