Action packed, full of turn based combat and powered by a dark fantasy universe that is sure to excite many, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground is now available on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC – with full crossplay support in place.

Available to purchase and download right now, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground is playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, taking players to a world that has been created on the back of Games Workshops’ iconic Age of Sigmar.

With crossplay support working across all platforms, if you are a fan of either the genre, or the universe it is set in, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground promises to be a bit of a dream. It all comes together through a series of non-linear, procedurally generated campaign missions which mean you’ll be tested with a whole new experience every time you start. It also means that Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground could well work as an endlessly replayable single player affair, which gets better still when you jump into the multiplayer with mates.

PvP matches will be commonplace through matchmaking, but you’ll also be able to send a code to your finest friends so they can hunt you down on the battlefield, no matter what format you, and they, are playing on.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground promises utter intensity, a wide variety of battlefields and plenty of requirement of tactical nous. Why? Well, if you’re not on your game you won’t be able to grab the upper hand on your opponents and won’t be able to secure their totem in order to gain victory.

With three factions in play – the stalwart Stormcast Eternals, the ghoulish Nighthaunt and the putrescent Maggotkin – the chance to upgrade your army with new heroes, multiple units, wargear, skills, weaponry and more, what you get out of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground most certainly looks to be dictated by what you decide to put in.

Key features include:

  • • The first strategy videogame adaptation of Games Workshop’s epic Age of Sigmar
  • • Spectacular and fast-paced tactical battles
  • • Unlock, collect and upgrade dozens of units, equipment and skills
  • • Play solo or online in epic 1vs1 battles

If you’re looking to head to the iconic universe and reckon Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Nintendo Switch or PC is for you, get over to the store of your choosing. We’d obviously not be doing our job right if we didn’t point you the way of the Xbox Store. It’s there where you’ll find Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground available for £32.99.

You’ll also find the little DLC add-on of the Spoils of War Weapon Pack too. Priced at £2.49 this adds in three legendary weapons to the game, with The Everspoil, a Maggotkin axe, the Shatterer’s Second, a Stormcast hammer and the Harvester of Grief, a Nighthaunt scythe, all present.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
