Creatures of Ava is another from 11 bit studios, as they team up with Chibig and Inverge Studios to deliver a new take on the consumption of creature collecting. What’s more, it’s a non-violent action adventure where you set out to free creatures from an all-consuming life-threatening infection in a gorgeous and vibrant world. Creatures of Ava – coming to Game Pass
Due to release later in 2024, initially on Xbox Series X|S and PC, via Game Pass (Xbox and PC) too, Creatures of Ava is a unique creature saver game that invites you to explore a world teeming with wild beings. These once peaceful creatures have succumbed to an unknown infection, compelling them to behave aggressively – it’s up to you to help them. See, once healed, they form a unique bond that allows you to use their skills for traversing the planet and solving environmental challenges.
With non-aggressive combat mechanics designed for healing rather than defeating, and indigenous Flute melodies that you play to tame creatures, Creatures of Ava further emphasizes the creature saver nature of the experience.
Need more? Great, because we’ve got it. In Creatures of Ava, you’ll be left to enjoy the life of Vic, a 22-year-old adventurer navigating an immersive expedition alongside researcher, Tabitha. Together, you’ll confront the recurring infection – that is “the withering” if you listen to the local population known as the Naam – as it threatens to take down Ava’s inhabitants.
The gameplay encourages curiosity-driven exploration of its distinct ecosystems, such as the colorful Nari jungle or mysterious Mâruba swamp, creating an interconnected world.
