Inspired by Dreamworks Animation and Netflix’s Emmy-winning series, Dreamworks Trollhunters Defenders of Arcadia has today been revealed by Bandai Namco. And best of all? There’s a release date to go with it.
Dreamworks Trollhunters Defenders of Arcadia will launch on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC come September 25th 2020, with an experience inspired by the hit Netflix series created by Guillermo Del Toro which features the voice talents of Emile Hirsch, Charlie Saxton and David Bradley
Coming from Bandai Namco, Outright Games and Universal Games and Digital Platforms, and developed by Wayforward, DreamWorks Trollhunters Defenders of Arcadia will work as a new platform action-adventure game.
The Tales of Arcadia trilogy is made up of Trollhunters, 3Below and the eagerly anticipated new series, Wizards, which launches later this year on Netflix, with the trilogy centring on the seemingly ordinary town of Arcadia Oaks that happens to lie at the centre of magical and mystical lines that make it a nexus for many battles among otherworldly creatures including trolls, aliens and wizards. The new game tells a brand-new story that takes place in between the distinct worlds from the three series, acting as a key narrative beat that unifies the trilogy.
