Normally, a cute pixel duck wearing various hats would have gamers flocking to it. Just think about how cute that would be! Alex the duck is different though. Yes, he wears various hats on his quest, but this is not a cute platformer. Find out how fiendish it can be as Alexio launches today on Xbox and PlayStation.
Alex the duckling has just turned six years old. Apparently at this age, a duckling becomes a duck. Or they will do, once they complete a pilgrimage and retrieve a crucial item. That crucial item? A monobrow. And a sacred one at that.
Alex must navigate through some pretty hostile areas to gather this sacred facial hair. Through six locations covering lakes, forests, mountains and caves, Alex must carefully jump and dodge the obstacles to reach his goal.
The hats do have their uses though, granting Alex some unique abilities. Double jump, shields and guns, they all come from the power of the hats. Hey, if a duck is off on a quest for a sacred monobrow, let’s not question whether or not hats can grant special abilities. Just roll with it.

You’re gonna love it! The premise is simple: this is the game about the little duckling Alex. The day when he turned 6 he learned the hard truth from his father — to become a true drake he had to complete the journey on his own and find his monobrow during his travels. Alex had a hard time trying to get some sleep, because he knew that this journey would be the most exciting thing for him ever. You will have to travel with Alex, overcome a set of obstacles and get through the meadows, lakes, mountains, woods, caves and ancient ruins on your way to the temple that keeps your hard-earned reward. Intriguing, right? This means it’s time to stop reading this and start playing!
