Words of Wisdom – brought to us by HugePixel and ChiliDog Interactive – aims to enter this genre, with a charming pixelated style that especially reminds us of the latter.
Riddles Galore
Words of Wisdom releases today on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, a few months on from a PC launch. Whilst it may initially appear to be your standard platforming fare, scratch beneath the surface and you’ll quickly find that it’ll be testing your mind equally as much as your thumbs. You see, the challenge here isn’t particularly the fine-tuned movement, but instead found within seeking the solution to each level.
With invisible boxes only appearing once you land on them, the ability to telekinetically move platforms into the right position, and the presence of vital keys that are surely downright impossible to reach, Words of Wisdom will have you racking your brains for any answers. After all, this puzzling prison is designed to taunt you at every opportunity.
