There are some deep tactics going on in Eden’s Last Sunrise on Xbox

Around six months on from a debut on PC, Sungazer Software’s Eden’s Last Sunrise is making its way over to console today. If you are in the market for an intricate turn-based RPG, topped to the brim with magic and a chaotic threat, then look no further.

Magic vs Technology

Eden’s Last Sunrise on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch sees you form a party of both human and non-human characters, each with a detailed set of stats and abilities. These allow you to optimise towards your preferred playstyle. By utilising both conventional weaponry and magical skills, you will lead the line against a world teetering into anarchy.

It comes with multiple endings through this fantastical story. And that means you’ll need to make the decision between saving the world, or succumbing to the dark side, and conquering the lands.

Complex Combat

In isometric turn-based combat in which fans of XCOM will immediately feel at home, battles within Eden’s Last Sunrise will see each party member or enemy fit within a turn order. When it is your turn, you will decide which of your member’s abilities to deploy, or perhaps make a move to a certain tile on the level. Things soon turn out into a cat and mouse ordeal, as you attempt to ambush your foes.

Throw in the fact that each character has an incredibly detailed set of stats, equipment and abilities, and soon enough you’ll be min-maxing like there is no tomorrow!

Head to Eden Now

Eden’s Last Sunrise is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC. To pick up a copy on Xbox, you can do so via the Xbox Store for £12.49.

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
