Noob – The Factionless is on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. It follows a swathe of Very Positive reviews over on Steam and sees a team of four gamers, and their corresponding avatars, embark on a quest to become the ultimate JRPGers. You see, this world is a meta homage to the best of JRPGs; the story set between the in-game world and the ‘real’ world. Think of it almost like a Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands deal. And you loved Tiny Tina, no?
As is the case with many JRPGs, the aim is to venture across the land. You’ll go fighting a variety of enemies and bosses in a bid to upgrade your heroes and weapons. You’ll find loot within dungeons and grottos too, allowing for you to customise the party to your liking. Each fight will allow you to hone your own playstyle, as your party becomes a true embodiment of your gameplay.
Soon enough, Baster the Neogician, Drek the Berserker, Log the Elementalist and May the Cartomancer will become the greatest warriors to walk this zany planet, and it will be all your doing! But who will become your favourite? The comments are below.
