Fall in love with Ruya on Xbox

There’s something immediately delightful about Ruya.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S – with full new-gen Series X|S optimisation in house – Ruya breaks out of the mobile scene to land on Microsoft’s box options with great aplomb.

A puzzler that focuses on the titular Ruya, you’ll fast find yourself becoming immersed in the gameplay elements which are on display here, all as you match up a variety of colours and elements in order to help Ruya out.

Utterly surreal but also pretty minimal, Ruya looks great visually, but it also promises to drag you through a tranquil world of magic, pushed along by the most serene of soundtracks.

With a price of £9.99 ensuring purchase on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S from the Xbox Store, we’re super excited to see what the development team at Miracle Tea have been able to create here – mostly as it’s picked up some decent acclaim from the mobile world in which it originates. Ruya has also done the rounds on PC, available on Steam, for a few years now.

Keep an eye out for a review of Ruya on Xbox from us soon. If you decided to grab this one for yourself, let us know what you think of it. The comments section is below and we’re kicking around, ready for chat, on all the usual social channels. Make sure you hit us up once you’ve had a chance to help Ruya out.

Game Description:

A game of tranquillity through the art of matching cute characters in Ruya’s world of dreams. Visit surrealist landscapes, decorate yourself in flowers and introspect. A calming minimal experience with juicy interactions and cool colour combinations to make you feel at ease. The ethereal dreamlike soundtrack will tickle your senses and pull you into a state of peaceful flow.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
