Fernbus Coach Simulator gets first smattering of DLC

We initially thought that ‘simulators’ wouldn’t thrive on console. And then we considered if there was actually room in the market for a host of those which would focus on driving buses. We’ve been proven wrong though as the market is indeed huge – so big in fact that Fernbus Coach Simulator has today got its first DLC pack. 

Adding to the base game of Fernbus Coach Simulator, is the debut DLC pack for the game, as TML Studio and Aerosoft go about giving players all the options they could ever want. It all falls under the super catchy title of Fernbus – Bus Pack 1 – VDL FHD 2, VDL Futura FDD 2 & Scania Touring, as the opportunity for players to expand their fleet comes to the fore. 

Priced at £16.74, Fernbus – Bus Pack 1 – VDL FHD 2, VDL Futura FDD 2 & Scania Touring (that name!!) adds in three new buses with the VDL FHD 2, VDL Futura FDD 2 & Scania Touring the chosen ones. Whether three buses for some £16 is value for money, will be dictated by personal preference, but seeing as the likes of Train Sim World continually charge double that for near on each and every expansion, we’d say that the marketing is about spot on. 

Pay up the cash and you’ll find that the Fernbus – Bus Pack 1 – VDL FHD 2, VDL Futura FDD 2 & Scania Touring replicates those three vehicles in detail, coming across as entirely authentic, full of the functions, the buttons, the knobs and the sounds that you would expect. 

We can’t sit here and pretend for one minute that we’re fully up-to-speed with the inner workings of the VDL FHD 2, VDL Futura FDD 2 & Scania Touring vehicles, but we’d bet our house on TML Studios getting this one right. 

If you’re a fan of what Fernbus Coach Simulator (or Fernbus, or Fernbus Simulator – we’re never really sure of the exact wording) brings, then fill your coach driving boots by heading to the Xbox Store and adding the expansion to your base game. It’s playable on Xbox Series X|S – we guess as the power of new-gen is needed in order to fully detail these new coaches.
