August 2019 has been a great month for gamers looking to get a fix of free games. With the likes of Forza 6, Gears of War 4, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Torchlight all being given away to Xbox Live Gold subscribers, in actual fact, we’re not sure there has ever been a better month. But all that is in the past and now it’s time to start looking ahead – ahead to the free Xbox One and Xbox 360 games gifted via the Xbox Games With Gold scheme for September 2019. And now today they have been confirmed. Want to get the low-down?
So, following on from that previous brilliant month of free gaming opportunities, September 2019’s Games With Gold scheme once more pushes out four free games to Xbox One and Xbox 360 players. With the need of a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription to hand, the following titles will be thrust our way for absolutely zero expense.
- Hitman The Complete First Season – Xbox One – 1st-30th September 2019
- We Were Here – Xbox One – 16th September – 15th October 2019
- Earth Defense Force 2025 – Xbox 360 – 1st-15th September 2019
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2 – Xbox 360 – 16th-30th September 2019
The confirmation of these latest freebies obviously means one thing, those standout games from last time out will soon be going up in price. So if you haven’t yet downloaded Forza Motorsport 6 for nothing, have failed to get your free download of Gears of War 4 moving, or are still to dip in to the world of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, then time is fast running out.
Even if you have no intention of playing them right now, and would prefer to save them for a rainy day, then hitting the download button from the Xbox Store is still needed. In fact, you’d be crazy to miss out on them.
Once they do skip back up in price though the games listed above for September 2019 will begin to roll back their prices. You can be sure that we will let you know as soon as we see the prices stripped from the Xbox Store, so keep an eye on these pages in order to grab the latest free gifts.
