We didn’t expect House Flipper to provide such a brilliant gaming experience, but once we had the opportunity to get hands-on with the game in the early stages of 2020, it didn’t take long for us to realise that it was flipping great – quite literally. Now though House Flipper on console is looking to expand options, as we break out of the confines of the usual four walls and into the garden with House Flipper – Garden.
An expansion to the original game – and following on from the free cyberpunk DLC that dropped in a couple of months back – House Flipper – Garden will see you attempting to tidy up the outside space of your home, letting you mow the lawn, tear up weeds and get a little green fingered.
It’s the biggest addition to House Flipper yet and gives you the chance to clean up the mud on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5 should you be looking for it.
But it won’t just be about cleaning up as House Flipper – Garden will let you get involved in a full garden makeover, with a wide collection of new and exclusive items arriving for use. These include a weed whacker for the smaller jobs, a lawn mower for the bigger stretches of grass, axes for chopping down trees and shovels for creating holes for newer ones. In all there are more than 500 unique items across a range of variants included in House Flipper – Garden, including more than 250 plants to consider, um, planting.
There are new orders to take in too, with 18 of these keeping you on your toes throughout your time in the expansion, and by taking these tasks on you’ll no doubt experience the eight brand new mechanics that have been included.
If you’re as much a fan of House Flipper as we are then you will no doubt be up for including the Garden expansion as soon as possible. If you’re playing on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, the Xbox Store will sort you out with a download. You’ll also find the new content on PlayStation if you prefer that side of the fence. It’s in two forms too – the standard £16.74 DLC pack that can be added into your House Flipper game, and in the £37.49 Garden Bundle which brings together both the base game and this Garden addition.
