Two American football games in two days? Yes, you heard us right. Following on from the super-arcadey football action of Wild Card Football, developers Axis Games are back with the next instalment in their own Axis Football series. Axis Football 2024 on Xbox is a whole lot more serious, looking to give the likes of Madden NFL 24 a run for its money.
Overhauls Aplenty
Available now on Xbox consoles, fresh from a PC release last month and with PlayStation and Switch editions to follow, Axis Football 2024 promises a number of overhauls in key areas.
Most notably the blocking system gets a revamp, with over 75 types of blocking interactions possible to experience during a match. To coincide with this is a new and improved defensive playbook system. This brings over 25 new defensive formations to the fore, as well as a whopping 100+ defensive plays.
With additions made to individual player attributes, making a match feel much more realistic, there will be tons of new ways to emerge victorious in Axis Football 2024.
