Get your climbing fix with DON’T NOD’s Jusant on Game Pass, Xbox, PS5 and PC

Jusant is on Game Pass, Xbox, PlayStation and PC

We all know that DON’T NOD are capable of producing special things. They’ve proven it multiple times in the past, with the likes of Life Is Strange, Tell Me Why, the hugely underrated Remember Me and more. And now they are doing it with Jusant as it releases on Game Pass, Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

Jusant is on Game Pass

Available right now is Jusant. It’s playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, making the most of Game Pass as it goes. And yes, this is one that is skipping older generation consoles, unplayable on Xbox One or PS4.

Priced at £22.49 from the Xbox Store, or available as part of Game Pass, Jusant is all about going up. You are a climber, intent on scaling the heights put in front of you. Why? Well, that would be telling. But let it be known that we’ve played this one through to completion and the narrative is capable of grabbing hold and never letting go. Which is pretty much what you’ll want to be doing with those handholds…

Our full review of Jusant is up, live and ready for your perusal. We rate this one extremely highly, as it builds on the anticipation levels that have been rising over the months. Give it a read whilst you wait for that download to complete.

A lovely climbing experience

A rather meditative experience that looks and sounds just as good as it plays, in Jusant you’ll be left to overcome a host of climbing puzzles, as you try and make it to the top of the tower in front of you. With a little partner in crime – Ballast – interacting with the environment as you go is front and centre of things.

Full of secrets to uncover, collectibles to hunt down and more, we think you’ll love Jusant. As do the devs…

DON’T NOD CEO Oskar Guilbert enthuses, “2023 has been a huge year for us at DON’T NOD so far, with the release of Harmony: The Fall of Reverie, our 15th anniversary, and now Jusant’s release. We’re very proud of all the teams involved and the hard work they’ve put in to get us here. We hope players fall in love with the climbing, the atmosphere, and the story of Jusant.”

Features

  • Experience climbing like never before – Master your climbing tools and watch your stamina meter to successfully navigate this mysterious and changing tower. As you go higher and hone your skills, you’ll have to figure out how best to use the tools at your disposal to get to where you want to go. Explore alternative paths to find clues about what happened here.
  • Relax and bask in nature – Play at your own pace. As you climb, you’ll come across breathtaking biomes full of flora and fauna, accompanied by a peaceful and atmospheric soundtrack. Brace yourself on arid, windy slopes, seek refuge in tunnels lit only by bioluminescence, and more.
  • Journey with a companion made of water – Meet the mysterious Ballast. This creature will help guide you throughout your journey by waking nature along your path and helping to reveal clues that will help you piece together the tower’s past and reach the top.

Buy Jusant now – or play through Game Pass

Jusant is available from the Xbox Store right now. You can play it on Xbox Series X|S, either for a cash outlay or via your Game Pass subscription. It’s also on PlayStation 5 and PC.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
