Green Hell Spirits of Amazonia Part 3 releases for free on Xbox and PlayStation

It’s been a good eighteen months since Green Hell first threw Xbox and PlayStation gamers into the Amazon, tasking them to survive. It’s been pretty much six months since that base game was built on too, with the arrival of Spirits of Amazonia Parts 1 & 2. Now though it’s time to conclude that tale, as Spirits of Amazonia Part 3 rolls out to consoles, for free. 

Available today for players of Green Hell on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5 to enjoy is the third and final chapter in the Spirits of Amazonia tale, as the Creepy Jar team puts that console version on par with that of PC. 

Spirits of Amazonia Part Three is the final piece of the thrilling trilogy, available on Xbox and PlayStation as players get put on a mysterious new path by an enigmatic tribal Shaman. Jake’s journey so far has seen the introduction of new tribes, an expanded map, fearsome new weapons, dangerous new enemies, and the addition of challenging Tribal Legend quests. Now, that adventure expands once again with another new tribe, added weapons, activities, and more.

The addition of the final chapter of the Spirits of Amazonia saga represents the most complete edition of the game on consoles. Having gone from the Early Access period to now, Jake’s experience in the depths of the Amazon has seen everything from the addition of co-op mode to the revered Story Mode. And throughout this, Creepy Jar remained staunchly focused on engaging with player feedback. The result is a more refined experience with each update adding more functionality and player-requested improvements. 

Having first arrived via Parts 1 & 2 back in May 2022, Spirits of Amazonia concludes now, covering events that played out prior to the original Story Mode in Green Hell. Having expanded on nearly every aspect of the game, players have been introduced to the Mu’agi and Un’garaca tribes all while exploring new locations, collecting and crafting new items, and completing challenging and diverse new quests.

The arrival of Part 3 to consoles reveals the Habbacu tribe and brings Jake’s prequel adventure to its thrilling conclusion. The following features are included:

• Introducing the Habbacu, an Amazonian fishing tribe
• Three ritual arenas—themed for each of the tribes
• A new region with lots of locations to explore
• 4 new legends
• A brand new AI, the creepy-crawly Centipede
• 2 new activities, 2 new weapons, a new pottery mechanic, and more
• Jake’s journey with the Spirits of Amazonia reaches its epic end
