Help Samuel go fully manual as he arrives on Xbox One and PC

Manual Samuel may have stumbled into play on PS4 a few days back, but now he’s alive and kicking on Xbox One…or at least he’s going to try and be!

Available right now for just £7.99 (or just £6.39 if you’re an Xbox Live Gold member), Manual Samuel is a bit of a delight. When an every day ordinary man has a bit of an accident, Death decides to go easy on him and grant him his life back, but only if he can manage to do one thing – manage to survive a full 24 hours doing everything manually. You need to help Samuel breath, blink, take a leak, drive, stumble and everything else a normal person will do, whilst at the same time keeping both his boss and his girlfriend happy.

It’s a wonderful concept, and as our review points out, a wonderful game. We don’t go dropping 5/5 ratings every day but Manual Samuel fully deserves his top marks.

Now get yourself over to the Xbox Games Store and help a struggling man out!

Game Description:

Manual Samuel is a classic adventure game with a wild twist. After making a deal with Death, our hero, the spoiled rich-kid Samuel, must survive for 24 hours controlling his entire body manually. From breathing and blinking to driving and working, all these tasks will fall to you. It won’t be easy, with Death himself tagging along for the ride, you might be in some very deep feces! Features: A hilarious story of love, redemption and death with secrets to uncover along the way. Unique, hand-drawn 2D art and animation bring the world of Manual Samuel to life. Play solo or share control of Sam’s body with a friend for local co-op fun. Master the brutal time-attack mode. Scintilating soundtrack by Sondre Jensen and Ozan Drøsdal. Over 600 lines of dialogue expertly executed by eloquent voice actors

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
