It’s priced at £8.39 and sees you heading off to the stars as you respond to a distress beacon. From there, it’s up to you to shoot anything – and everything – that moves.Â
It certainly looks the part as you aim to master side-scrolling stages, take in cinematic moments and upgrade your ship and weapons to ensure you come out the other end as a lean mean fight machine. Various foes await too, as do big bosses, online leaderboards and Time Trial missions that are thrown your way with the express intention of testing your skills like never before.
With inspiration from the old-school shoot ’em ups from decades gone by, taking in the various stages and levels of Hyper-5 should well appeal to many – especially when you take that reasonably low asking price into consideration. The key features help sell it even more…
